What Should We Pay Attention to When Diving in and out of water in Freestyle?

Freestyle is the usual swimming style. If we want to swim freestyle well, besides the technical standard, the state of diving in and out of the water is also very important. Then, in this Swimming Class, let's talk about what should be paid attention to in freestyle swimming?

First of all, before entering the water, our body should be fully stretched, so that the center of gravity of our body is as far away from the starting platform as possible. When taking off in the air, we should emphasize the streamline of our body as much as possible, so that body form can pose like a javelin, which can produce a long-distance dive. The distance between the entry point and the departure platform is as far as possible, which is one of the most important goals for diving.

At the same time, when our body enters the water, the less splash at the water entry point, the better, which can minimize the front resistance and reduce the wave resistance generated by our body. Generally speaking, the bigger the splash, the worse the diving effect, the energy is consumed to push the water instead of pushing the body forward.

Furthermore, the size of the water entry angle should make the body complete the farthest horizontal distance with the fastest sliding speed. When other people may have to rise to the surface because of the deep water, they can swim in front of the swimming pool in the best condition.

In freestyle, no matter which way you start diving, you should kick the leg 3-6 times as quickly as possible after entering the water. When kicking, the arms, head, and torso should be kept stable. When you start kicking, your legs should be lower than your torso, and even if your head is sandwiched between your upper arms, your face should be down so that your head can keep moving forward.

Generally speaking, with graceful diving, there will be few bubbles brought into the water. If there are many bubbles brought into the water, it means that the swimmer has greater resistance in the water, which is not conducive to the later exertion.

In freestyle swimming, swimmers should avoid changing the underwater trajectory suddenly. The way to fight for it is to follow a smooth and gentle path to the surface of the water and then come out of the water. When climbing along this movement curve, it will help to bend the body and make it conform to the movement path, instead of keeping it in a rigid state.
